Moonlight Message Board
For those of you already familiar with message boards and how they work, go right on in!
For those of you who may not know much about message boards, here's a little information to help you understand what is it and how you use it.
A message board is similar to your refrigerator at home. When you want to leave a message for people in your family when they are not home, you leave a message for them on the refrigerator. They'll see the note sticking on the refrigerator and read whatever message you left for them.
It works the same way on the computer on a message board. You leave a message, called a "post" in computer terms, under a certain topic of discussion. Other visitors will come and be able to read what you "posted" and respond back.
You will have the opportunity to format (change) the font and background to match your personality and style. You can also use smilies (smily faces) and other features. Feel free to experiment around to find out what different things do. Many of the items are the same as what you would see in word processing software. You can also subscribe to a thread (the series of a post and its replies).
