Does God Exist?
There are many explanations concerning the beginning of the universe. Two of the main ones that seem to go rounds and rounds are evolution and creation.
Evolution says that all life came from a single cell. It's all a coincedence. It's just by mere chance that life exists today...
Well, consider the following:
How can life come from no life? How can the intricate details of life come by mere chance without any thought or design?
How about water? No living thing can live without it. It has an incredibily high boiling point and an incredibly low freezing point, making it available to us in our living environment. Look at how much water is on Earth. Did water just suddenly appear?
How can Earth be the perfect living environment for so many species of life, including humans? The size of Earth is perfect. The atmosphere of Earth is perfect to allow all life forms the ability to breathe. The distance between the Earth and the sun is perfect. If the Earth was any farther away from the sun, we would all freeze; any closer, and we would burn. The moon is the perfect size and distance from the Earth to help create the gravitational pulls that maintain the tides. Did all of this just come about?
How about the human brain? I once heard that the human brain "is so complex, it can't even understand its own complexity." Look at what your brain processes every second: your every movement; the colors, items, and people you see; the rough and smooth textures you feel; the music, talking, or animals you hear; etc. Simulaneously, it allows us to know what we need to focus on, to store information for later use, and to know what emotions we are feeling. And, it keeps track of our body functions, such as breathing and blinking, how hungry we are, if any part of our body aches, etc. How do you explain the human brain?
If you really stop to think about everything, it's astounding! These are just a few of the examples I could give. I, personally, couldn't even begin to imagine it all without a Creator.
